A Crime Remembered

After years in Brazil, Maha returns to Syria hoping to start a new chapter in her life. But when she buys an abandoned villa, she begins experiencing disturbing visions and fragments of childhood memories that seem connected to the house. As she pieces together her forgotten past, she discovers that she once lived there with her father and stepmother, Hala, who mysteriously disappeared nearly twenty years earlier. Convinced that something terrible happened inside the house, Maha sets out to uncover the truth. Her search draws her into a tangled web of family secrets, suspicious relationships, and long-buried lies, where every new discovery brings her closer to a mystery someone may have gone to great lengths to conceal.
