Kika & Xuxu

Kika and Xuxu were originally characters from a sketch on the show "Planeta dos Homens" (1976). The couple was so successful that, in March 1978, they got their own series. Kika was a sensual woman in love with her husband, and Xuxu was a quiet man who tried hard to please his wife. Fixing a tap, cutting her toenails, washing the car… Even though the seductive Kika begged for her husband's attention in a sexy nightgown, the most mundane activities were Xuxu's priority. When she asked for something, she always pouted: "Xuxu, turn off… the light!"
